A Guide on How to Return to the Playground

A Guide on How to Return to the Playground is a a guide (or RPG) for players to follow to step back into (or return) to childhood play and playing pretend on the playground, letting players' imaginations run wild. It's a rules loose game that can be played anywhere and anytime.

Together, players will establish the boundaries of the space they're playing in, determine any initial components they may have at their disposal, distribute secret goals to each other, and come up with an idea for the game. After reading the Golden Rules of the Playground, the game starts. Players will play the game and try to accomplish their secret goals in order to sow chaos by adding more rules throughout the game.

The game ends when it does, when all players have accomplished their goals, or after 30 minutes have passed (just like recess).

The Playground is your oyster, where you can do whatever you want forever, or at least until recess is over!
